Holland Residents Needed for Study on Urban Yards and Neighborhoods

Do you see connections between yards and your neighborhood? Do you have access to using a yard space? What is your backyard like? What is your front yard like? What do you like best and least about your yard spaces?

A graduate student at the University of Minnesota is studying how yards fit into everyday life and neighborhoods in different areas of Minneapolis. She is talking with and visiting residents’ front and back yards as part of the study.

Holland or Sheridan residents can find out more and/or participate by contacting her. Yard visits take about an hour. Schedules are very flexible, and every kind of yard is of interest – renters and non-gardeners are encouraged to participate!
