On August 4th, at Jackson Park a meeting was held at Jackson Square Park to discuss the Green Initiatives ideas for the Edison Campus area. Julia Earl of Preventing Harm Minnesota facilitated the meeting. Lisa Brock of Council member Reich’s Office flyered residents in the area immediately around the Edison Campus to invite people to this meeting. Council Member Kevin Reich opened the meeting with Liz Wilenski of the Minneapolis Park Board. They discussed how Jackson Park’s softball field will have new turf and a sprinkler system this fall.
