The Holland Neighborhood’s biggest fundraiser, decidedly Northeast, was held on April 30 at the Grace Center. Celebrity judges from local chefs, public figures and artists were on hand to judge the supreme hotdish. Categories included Spicy, Tater Tot, Vegetarian, Quintessential, I Made It Myself (Kids 15 and Under) and Jello! This library is central to the Northeast community. Located on Central Avenue, a main commercial avenue, it draws families, students, business people, and others from a wide area. Many languages are spoken here; students whose first language is not English are regular visitors to the Homework Helper program.
