Earth Day Cleanup
Saturday, April 18, 9:30 AM – Noon

Location: Jackson Square Park

Join HNIA for our Earth Day Cleanup on Saturday, April 18 from 9:30 AM – Noon. We’ll gather at Jackson Square Park and spread out to clean up the park and nearby blocks.

This is a hands-on way to care for our shared spaces, connect with neighbors, and make a meaningful impact in just a few hours. Every bag of litter collected helps strengthen our community.

Snacks will be provided! All are welcome — come be part of it!

Chalk Walk 2025: A Colorful Day on Central Ave 🎨

On August 2nd, HNIA hosted our very first Chalk Walk outside the Northeast Library during Open Streets Central. The sidewalks came alive with creativity as artists of all ages filled over 40 squares with vibrant, inspiring artwork.

More than 50 community members cast votes in our chalk art competition—and many more stopped by to admire the art, take photos, and cheer on the artists. The event inspired spontaneous creativity throughout the block and truly captured the spirit of Open Streets.
